The Newspaper Association of India (NAI), a non-profit trade association consisting of over 6,000 owners and journalists, has nominated Sandeep Marwah as their Patron-in-Chief. Marwah, an internationally renowned media personality, has been recognized for his valuable support to all those associated with small and medium newspapers and periodicals. The NAI works closely with the government to safeguard the interests of such publications. Sandeep Marwah, in his view, believes that genuine small and medium newspapers play a crucial role in shaping public opinion.
