In the quest to wield the most potent instrument for world change—journalism—Sandeep Marwah envisaged the International Journalism Centre (IJC). IJC stands not only as an educational bastion but also as a lighthouse for established journalists, ensuring they stay abreast of contemporary journalistic practices.   Notably, in the absence of a designated day to honor the stalwarts safeguarding our society—the diligent journalists—Mr. Marwah took a decisive step, he declared 12th February as International Journalism Day, a momentous occasion to celebrate the relentless efforts of these journalistic watchdogs. This visionary move recognizes the invaluable contributions of journalists who courageously navigate the currents of information, bringing forth stories that shape our understanding of the world. In the world of journalism, each keystroke becomes a stimulus for change, echoing the indomitable spirit of those committed to truth and transparency.
