MEC Art Gallery

Sandeep Marwah regards art as a means of expressing feelings, thoughts, and observations in a visual form, possessing its own grammar. According to him, this creative articulation guides all our senses toward symbolic expression by the artist. With the aim of bringing Indian art lovers closer to contemporary Indian art, he established the MEC Art Gallery in New Delhi in 1991, inaugurated by the former President of India, Giani Zail Singh. Renowned for exhibiting contemporary paintings and sculptures by established Indian artists and amateurs alike, the MEC Art Gallery supports artists by organizing art exhibitions, conferences, and the sale of their original artwork. As a tribute to the essence of art, Marwah believes, "Art speaks where words are unable to explain."
