Indo- Sudan Film & Cultural Forum

In 2009, the ICMEI collaborated with the Govt of the Republic of Sudan to create the Film and Cultural Forum to foster a stronger bond of friendship between India and Sudan. Through this initiative, artists from both countries will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, while Indian and Sudanese films and television programs will be screened in each other's country. Additionally, Sudanese nationals will receive top-notch education and training in filmmaking and television program production in India. It is noteworthy that Hon'ble Siddik Mugata, Minister of State for Tourism of the Republic of Sudan and His Excellency Adbalhaleem Mohammed, Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan in India, nominated Sandeep Marwah, the President of the Asian Society of Film and Television, as the Honorary Chairperson.
